5 Reasons Why We’re Excited For Our New Venue
Location, location, location! Coalesce New Years 2022 is just a few weeks away, and we are pumped to have everyone join us at our new venue. This change is bringing a lot of energy as the new scenery stimulates imagination and innovation. Coupled with some delicious additions, our Apple Valley debut has amazing amenities for all to enjoy.
Without further ado, here are 5 reasons why we’re excited for our new venue!
1. IT’S EASY TO GET TO
The journey to a desert gathering can be troublesome and unforgiving; that’s why we always emphasize to come during the daytime where there’s maximum visibility. Fortunately this year, we will take new roads that are not only sturdier but simpler to navigate! We will still be providing directions but rest assured you will not have to worry about your sedan getting stuck in soft sand. The only downside is we may have to reconsider expanding our towing business…
2. BIG, WIDE OPEN SPACE
The Mojave Desert presents an endless horizon drawn into a grand and perpetual vista. We have a deep appreciation for our times gazing over yonder. This year we will have a new yonder to gaze at, with more open space available to explore and settle in our expanded campgrounds! You can chose to pitch your tent close to the stage and keep the party going nonstop or unplug further away and enjoy the serene environment surrounded by tranquility. With fewer shrubs and more ground, you can find your ideal, comfortable home away from home. Speaking of plants…
3. JOSHUA TREES
Our new venue is covered with those weird, spindly alien creatures that sprout from the ground to spread its branches into the sky. They are a familiar staple in most California desert scenes and we are thrilled to have them be a part of your Coalesce 2022 experience! Pick your favorite and give it a name, just make sure to treat these trees respectfully. They hung out here for a very long time just to meet and greet you.
4. NEW INFRASTRUCTURE
Fire pits, couches, and a stage + kitchen area are just a few of the amenities our new venue provides. We’ll be decking out the stage pictured above to be the first-ever Coalesce Link-Up Lounge where you and your crew can chill-out with comfy cushions while full-on vibing to the tunes from our musical talent. Stroll behind the lounge to find Café Coalesce where we’ll be serving coffee, tea, hot cocoa, ramen, and miso soup every day (times TBA). Just make sure to pick up after yourselves or you will have to answer to our Moop Fairy!

Last but not least our incredible location will be nestled between two hills in seclusion, which makes a Coalesce sandwich! Watch gorgeous sunrises and sunsets pour out of these mini-mountains during special sets to replete your hearts for four days in a row. Take a quick hike around the area to grow more accustomed to your new home away from home while making those special memories with your friends. Make sure to take pictures and share them with us!
